Turn a PDF into study notes you will actually use

Upload your lecture PDF, slides, Word file or e-book. oosync reads its structure and gives you a note page already laid out by the material’s own headings, so you spend your time thinking, not copying titles.

How it works

  1. Add a PDF, PowerPoint (PPTX), Word (DOCX) or EPUB file, or paste text, into a module.
  2. oosync reads the document and builds its outline: chapters, sections and slides.
  3. Open a structured note: one section per heading, ready for your own words.
  4. Type, or write and draw with a pen; ask the AI to tidy, explain or test a section.

What you get

A note that follows the material

Sections come from the document’s own headings, so your notes line up with the lecture.

Your words first

You write the note. The AI can tidy abbreviations, explain a section or turn it into a recall question when you ask.

Answers from your sources

Ask a question and get an answer drawn from your own materials, with the passages it used.

Flashcards and practice

Turn sections into flashcards or a practice exam when you are ready to test yourself.

How to make notes from a PDF that stick

oosync does not write your assignments or essays for you, and it keeps your notes yours: you choose what, if anything, your class sees.

Questions

Which file types can I turn into notes?

PDF, PowerPoint (PPTX), Word (DOCX) and EPUB files, plus pasted text.

Does oosync summarise the PDF for me?

It builds the note structure from the document and can explain or tidy any section you ask about, but it is designed for you to write the note in your own words, which is what helps you remember it.

Is it free?

Yes. oosync is free to use within daily limits: 2 modules with up to 3 of your own materials each, files up to 60 MB, and daily allowances for AI features.
